The Lockheed F104 Starfighter that is dispalyed at George Izay Park (known to everyone in Burbank as Olive Park) is a reminder of the proud aviation history that Burbank shares with the Lockheed Aviation Company. Many famous planes were built here and even help to win World War 2. The company has since moved but it's and the City of Burbank's history will forever be entwined with one another.
