Like all cities the center of what happens and how it is governed starts at City Hall. If you have some sort of problem or are interested in what happens around town this is the place to be on Tuesday nights. Council meeting can be amusing as well as informative and drama driven, but you have to respect the people who do this job. Maybe I'm a bit naive but I like to think any one who has been on the Burbank City Council has done the best they could for the City of Burbank. I did this picture as a watercolor because I felt It captured the essence of City Hall in the morning as another day of city business begins.

Welcome to Around Burbank, my goal with this blog will be to basically show people around the city I love with digital paintings of Iconic as well as not so Iconic places around Burbank. I have lived in Burbank for more than forty years and I can't imagine living any where else.
